What does a Solar Water Heater look like?
Many solar collectors are mounted directly to your roof.  The typical system will require two flat-plate collectors
about 4 ft wide and 8 ft long each.  Many people mistake them for a sky-lite if they even notice them at all.

The storage tank, pumps, and other system components usually replace your existing water heater in the same
location.  The "inside" part is more complicated looking than a conventional water heater because there are
more parts.  However, the system is simple and reliable.
